A thinking tool for real work

You don't need to do more.
You need to know what fits.

Stop carrying the whole day in your head. Dokkit holds the work, shows what still fits, and learns from what actually happened—not a chatbot, not a scoreboard, not another system to maintain.

Illustrative—real Today reflects your tasks, work hours, and what Dokkit has learned from you.

The problem

Most tools manage tasks.
None of them understand how work unfolds.

A list can look manageable until the day shifts around it. The hard part is not keeping a list. It is having a tool that reflects the work, commitments, changes and decisions that shape the day.

Adapts

Your day changes. Dokkit changes with it.

Add something new. Finish something early. Run out of time. Change your priorities. Dokkit adjusts the plan around what actually happened—carrying forward the work that usually moves, and leaving same-day anchors where they belong.

Remembers

Dokkit remembers what your work is actually like.

The more you use Dokkit, the less you have to explain. It remembers how long things tend to take, what gets carried forward, and the patterns that emerge in the way you work—even when you didn’t put a time on every task.

Built differently

The tool should fit the work — not the other way around.

Dokkit does not judge you against a rigid system. Its language reflects a different relationship: plans can change, work can carry forward, and what happened is useful information.

Jobs

Work doesn't arrive in neat little boxes.

A job is a lens over the same tasks you already have—what’s open, what’s on today, and what still needs time—without turning your day into a project-management exercise.

Remaining time uses the same sense of capacity as Today—even when some tasks have no estimate yet.

Meetings

The conversation stays with the work.

A meeting is time with people—often about a job, often at a place. Capture what was said, decided and still needs doing, without spinning up another system of record.

Travel

The same tool follows you when the day changes shape.

When you are on the road, tasks, locations, routes and plans still belong together. Dokkit adapts with the circumstances, so a change of place does not mean starting your thinking again.

Alongside the calendar you already use

Fixed time is real. The rest of the day still needs a plan that can move.

Dokkit is built to respect commitments you already have—site visits, calls, anything that does not slide. Full calendar sync is on the roadmap; until then you still get a clear picture of the work that has to fit around what is fixed.

Who it is for

Built for days that don't go to plan.

Dokkit is especially useful for tradespeople, contractors, field workers, service businesses and independent operators—anyone whose workday changes constantly. It is for people doing real work in the real world.

Questions

Straight answers.

What problem does Dokkit solve?

Most people are not short of lists. They are carrying too much in their head—what still fits today, what can wait, and what the last few weeks actually taught them. Dokkit is a place to put that load down and see a plan that matches the day you have, not the day you hoped for.

What is Dokkit?

A personal thinking tool. You capture work once. Dokkit helps you see capacity, what belongs today, and what can move—then learns from what actually happened. It is not a chatbot, not a scoreboard, and not another system you have to perform for.

Who is it for?

People whose days change as the work unfolds: trades, contractors, field and service work, independent operators, and anyone juggling real-world interruptions. If a rigid planner never survives contact with your afternoon, Dokkit is built for that.

How is this different from a to-do list or calendar?

A list remembers items. A calendar remembers fixed times. Dokkit sits in the middle: it holds the work and helps you judge what still fits around reality—including travel, jobs, and meetings when you use those parts of the product.

Does Dokkit use AI?

Not generative AI chat. There is no assistant to prompt. Dokkit’s engine is deterministic: it uses your history, time available, and patterns in your own work—not an LLM conversation.

How does Dokkit learn?

You start with simple onboarding so the first day is not blank. Then Reality Check and completed work teach it—typical durations, what tends to carry, what usually finishes same day. Over the first weeks it quietly gets closer to how you actually work.

What if I don’t estimate times?

You do not have to. Untimed work still has a soft cost so the day does not look empty when it is not. As Dokkit sees similar work finish, those guesses improve without you training a model by hand.

What if I don’t finish everything?

That is normal. Work that usually moves can carry with a clear reason. Work you typically finish the same day stays protected. Nothing is scored as failure—the plan reshapes.

What is Free and what is paid?

Free includes Today, tasks, Reality Check, and learning—the core of Dokkit. The Dokkit plan (USD $6/month) adds Jobs, Meetings, and Travel for people who need those surfaces. Start without a card. Cancel anytime from Account → Billing.

What about calendar sync?

Calendar connection (Microsoft) is on the roadmap and not fully available yet. Dokkit is designed to sit alongside the calendar you already use; when sync ships, commitments can feed capacity more automatically. Until then, you can still plan the work that moves around fixed time.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Dokkit runs in the browser and is built for use between sites and jobs. You can install it as a web app where your browser allows.

Can I cancel or delete my account?

Yes. Manage or cancel the subscription under Account → Billing. Deleting your account is intended to cancel active Dokkit subscriptions so you are not charged afterward. See Privacy for how data is handled.

Origin

Built because I needed it.

Dokkit began with days that changed shape by the hour. A paper list could remember the work, but it could not say what still fit, what needed to wait, or what real experience had already taught.

You don't need to do more.
You need to know what fits.

Put the load down. See what fits. Let the tool learn you—not the other way around.
